Scope of work
Noise level measurements from ventilation in hotel rooms, analysis of noise emitted to the environment, final report
Introduction
The project involved conducting final noise measurements for internal noise levels and sound emissions to the environment in a new hotel facility. The aim was to confirm compliance with standards regarding guest acoustic comfort and minimize the impact of noise on the surrounding environment.
Scope of work and execution
- Noise level measurements from ventilation
In the first phase of work, we conducted noise level measurements in 72 hotel rooms and common areas such as the lobby, restaurant, and conference rooms. The measurements focused on noise generated by the ventilation systems. Measurements were carried out in accordance with applicable regulations (PN-B-02151-2:1987). As part of the task, background noise levels were also measured, appropriate calculations were made, and an analysis of the measurements was conducted.

- Analysis of noise emitted to the environment
The next step involved performing noise level measurements on the grounds surrounding the hotel, considering noise generated by technical systems located on the building’s roof. The measurements were conducted in accordance with the applicable ministerial regulation regarding permissible noise levels in the environment, right next to the “acoustically protected” building facades.

Summary
Thanks to precise measurements and noise analysis, it was possible to confirm compliance with acoustic standards both in terms of guest comfort and environmental protection. The final report served as acceptance documentation and a basis for obtaining approval from the supervisory authorities.
